Miranda, a recent Southern California transplant, is an active horn player and teacher throughout the Los Angeles area.
She earned her Masters in Music at the University of Southern California while building
her freelance and teaching network on the side.
Miranda performs in various chamber groups in Los Angeles, including the PCH Quartet as well as the Bitsch Woodwind Quintet. She has also performed with the Santa Monica Symphony, Culver City Symphony, Los Angeles Doctors Symphony, La Mirada Symphony, Orquesta de Baja California (Tijuana, MX) and the Children's Civic Light Opera Orchestra.
Miranda's main teachers include James Thatcher, Kristy Morrell, and Michael Gast. She spends most of her time performing, accompanying, and teaching both piano and horn privately. In her spare time she enjoys baking and hiking with friends.
